Sat 16th November
Popped into Echuca in the morning to get some bits and pieces and bumped into Jade and Maria!! Well I didn't, I was in my own little word so walked straight past them but Benny was on the ball and spotted them. We finished up in town and then took the tinnie down to Jade's to pick them up :) hahah pulling out with 4 of us on Board was a lot slower than just 2....after going through the slow zone Benny got a bit of a shock when he tried to speed up and realised that was it, we weren't going any faster!! I jumped up the front and it managed to pick up a little bit ;) Jade and Maria had brought a lovely platter if cheeses, crackers, grapes and dips so we sat at camp and enjoyed them... The cheeky kookaburras decided they wanted to enjoy them too and tried to swoop down to steal the cheese!! It had its beak in it and everything but 'luckily' when it turned around it flew into a pole holding the awning up and dropped the cheese!! After a few drinks Benny the chauffeur dropped us back at Jades, poor Maria ended wearing some of my cider on the way back though as Benny decided that he didn't want to slow down over other boats wake and so just powered over them, makes for a bumpy ride!! A shower later and we were out for dinner with the girls at the American :) I'll gloss over the next part cos that's when I had to say goodbye to Jade and I hate goodbyes :(
Sun 17th November
We had planned to leave but it was hot so we chilled, packed up the boat up late arvo and just relaxed :) the beauty of travelling with no time restraints!!
