It was a damp, dewey night so we pulled everything out of the bed and dried everything off, with the added bonus that the sheets provided a shadey spot for us cos it was HOT with hardly any wind… Lazy day in the heat, checked out the surf, I enjoyed it but Bennys board was a bit small to catch the waves. The reef was really shallow as well so had to be carefully when you jumped/fell off, not to scratch your feet. We were gonna hit the road again but the lazy day turned into staying another night, we didn’t bother putting the mattress back in the ute, instead we left it under the awning and slept under the stars J
